One of the prominent goddess film Devi Sigandur Chowdeshwari of Sagar Taluk, Talaguppa, audio was released in last July. The film is all set for release in over fifty theatres with MN Kumar as distributor on Ugadi festival day – 8th of April 2016. In the presence of Dharmadarshi of the sacred temple Sri Ramappa and former minister Halappa the film media meet was held on Friday evening. Producer and director Shashikumar, Actors Shanker Bhat, Harish Raj, Shuba Punja and Sanjana Naidu were present.

For the 70 years history of Siganduru Sri Kshetra director Shashikumar has added four layers to it. It has the real happening of executive producer Nagaraj in it.


Harish Raj is thrilled with this devotional film with social touch to it. Working in the Srikshetra for seven days was unforgettable he says. Shuba Punja is already a devotee of goddess is in the similar role in this film. This is the first release for Sanjana Naidu.


Dharmadarshi Sri Ramappa disclosed that a few have come in the past to make the film. They did not succeed. Now the film is ready. It is for the devotees and film fans to carry out the success stage for it he said.


Chaitanya alias LN Shastry has composed music for five songs. Top actress Sudharani is in Goddess Sigandur Chowdeshwari Devi role.
